“We choose to go to the Moon…” The Dream, The Mission, and The Sooners Involved

A groundbreaking exhibit that has since been made a permanent fixture on the campus of the University of Oklahoma, "We choose to go to the Moon..." was the first exhibit researched, developed, and designed by Founder Jeremy Davis while a Graduate Research Assistant at the state's flagship university. With a split focus on the Apollo 11 Mission and the contributions of Mareta West (OU '37), Jerry "High Eagle" Elliot (OU '66), and Fred Haise (OU '59), the exhibit brings to life little known history of Sooners directly involved in mankind's greatest adventure... landing a man on the Moon.
